At Edinburgh University there are plenty of international students. In fact, about 30 % of the 35,000 students are from countries all around the world. If you do not live in the United Kingdom your financial assistance varies depending on your country of origin.
International
English language requirement
If English is not your native language you have to provide evidence of your writing and speaking skills in English.
Your English language certificate cannot be older than two years at the beginning of your degree. If you have taken or plan to take an English language test you must report to the relevant College Admissions Office.
Accommodations
The University of Edinburgh guarantees an offer of accommodation to all students who study abroad and international exchange students coming for either one semester or the full year, and they also have the offer for students who are full-year Erasmus students. Unfortunately however, they will probably not be able to provide you with the precise accommodation you are seeking. Single-semester Erasmus students are not guaranteed University accommodation. However that does not mean it is impossible to obtain it, because there might be extra spaces available.
